NBFA Day Trips

We recognise that 3 years is a long time to wait for your next Break-Away holiday, and not everyone wants to, or is able to, go away for 5 days. The NBFA will be organising a number of day trips across the country running throughout the year. These day trips will give you a chance to get a change of scenery and a break from your daily routine, along with the opportunity to meet new people. Similar to our Break-Away holidays, the day trips are open to anyone - men, women, singles, couples, friends, and groups, carers seeking respite or people celebrating a special occasion - everyone is welcome!

NBFA Day Trips are aimed at people over the age of 60, and special concessionary / subsidised prices will be offered, but people of all ages are welcome to attend. Prices will be kept as low as possible, and any money raised will go directly into our Break-Away holiday programme.

August trips:

26th August	Bedford	Althorp	Experience 500 years of history at Althorp, Diana, Princess of Wales' childhood home.
31st August	Leeds	Bridlington	Enjoy a day at your leisure by the sea.

September trips:

1st September	n/a	Afternoon Tea River Thames Cruise	'Hollywood on Thames' is a celebration of film and TV locations in, on and around the Thames. Begin the three hour tour at Butlers Wharf Pier, relax and enjoy a classic cream tea while taking in the sights of London.
6th September	Bromley	Brighton	Enjoy a day at your leisure by the sea.
15th September	Portsmouth	Worthing (& stop at English Martyrs Church)	Enjoy a day at your leisure by the sea.
27th September	Cardiff	Llandrindod Wells	Enjoy a day at your leisure by the sea.

October trips:

14th October	Skegness & Boston	Battle of Britain Memorial Flight & Lincoln	Enjoy a guided hangar tour (approx. 1 - 1.5 hours), followed by some free time to enjoy the exhibition galleries. Then head to Lincoln for a brief stop to enjoy some lunch or shopping!
19th October	Bournemouth	Weymouth	Enjoy a day at your leisure by the sea.

November trips:
